This year's Perchtenlauf was fantastic! Thanks to all who contributed their considerable enthusiasm, creative talent and sheer energy. We more than doubled the length of the route from last year's Lauf and that seems to have been a good decision. The feedback we received as we hit some of the more populated areas on the route was incredible---folks were howling along with us as we made our way through town. Because people are not used to this tradition stateside, a procession like this functions as surprise performance art in many ways. This adds to the core intent to commune with the dark soul of Winter and, at the same time, to drive that very darkness out. Well done, everyone!
